As SD has all relevant data for  keeping logbook records, I would love to see
it in SD one day :-)

I am soooo loath of keeping my logbook current, transcribing all the data from various sources (kneeboard, Hobbs, tach, etc.). I would appreciate it very much if SD could make this information available to me in a form of electronic logbook. Actually, it is almost doing this already. The flight log has staring point, destination, take-off and landing times. All we need now is to include the time the log started (i.e., the pilot switched to "Go Flying"). I switch to flying when I start the engine, which gives me off block time.

Chris, it sounds like you simply need to use the Start Log function. People often use that to log the engine time as well as the flight time.

I use logbook.aero which can unpick some of a SkyDemon log emailed to it. A little more work (on the logbook.aero end of things) would make it perfect.

Ahhh, all the nooks and crannies I haven't explored yet...

There are lots of flightlog apps for all platforms available anyway, so this is nothing I need in an app for flightplanning & flightmanagement in first place.

A flightlog data export button (.csv) would be sufficent, though.
